KETO TIL (SESAME) CHIKKI RECIPE

We are sharing a a yummy keto til chikki recipe made by one of our patient’s mom.

KETO TIL (SESAME) CHIKKI

INGREDIENTS

WHITE SESAME SEEDS- 25 G

CHOPPED PISTACHIOS- 5 G

ERYTHRITOL SWEETENER- 20 G

XANTHUM GUM- A PINCH

WATER- 20 G

GHEE- 5 G

METHOD

  • DRY ROAST THE SESAME SEEDS IN A PAN TILL LIGHT BROWN IN COLOUR. KEEP IT ASIDE.
  • IN THE SAME PAN, MIX WATER WITH ERYTHITOL SWEETENER AND BRING IT TO A BOIL. ONCE THE SYRUP BOILS, ADD THE PINCH OF XANTHUM GUM AND MIX IT.
  • ADD THE ROASTED SESAME SEEDS AND CHOPPED PISTACHIOS TO THE SYRUP AND MIX IT THOROUGHLY.
  • GREASE THE BUTTER PAPER WITH GHEE AND SPREAD THE MIXTURE OVER IT.
  • GREASE A ROLLING PIN AND THEN ROLL THE MIXTURE EVENLY.
  • ONCE IT COOLS, CUT INTO PIECES AND SERVE.
